Does anyone know how to get it to recognise my phone?

I couldnt either...am curoius...was using my official Moto USB data cable. I think bit pim is set up for a serial cable as per their website.

any info would be apprec.

Mine worked fine on bitpim. I was able to browse the file system, and add or delete files. However, the music files added did not play for some reason (or even show up on the phone) I used auto port find, and set it up to look for the Universal Motorola USB Modem adapter, which it found and called it "Generic CDMA phone"

What version of BitPim are you using? I haven't had any luck with it.

I'd like to know because there are people claiming to have used it and perhaps other software like PST and I for the life of me haven't been able to get this working.
