HELP! stuck in testmode
i sent myself a .3pg via email and when i went to open it my phone went into test mode!!! it's stuck on the white screen with stats about the phone onit..how can i get back?????

heh, It'll just come up again upon reboot... to exit hit menu then the left softkey... to kill it permanently do a menu 073887* then six zeroes (or your personal security code) then scroll down and disable test mode...

sponge, it's not working..do i need to be on the field test screen then enter that code? and i don't have a personal security code with 6 characters..i tried the zeros and nada

ok, hit end to get back to the nice piccie you set up as th ebackground wiht the 4 way radial menu the time date etc... within 10 seconds do menu 0 73887 * it will ask for security code, six zeroes is default sec code. if your security code is less than six try that too...

Not a whole lot actually, but it lets you view the ec/io (say: eee sea over the eye not) which is a true indication of signal... also lets you see pilots/towers plus th elocal sid/nid dropped packets and transmitter status...
