i've successfully compressed full length videos

now i can't send them to my phone b/c my email, for whatever reason, changes the .3pg format on me to an obscure .3ppg2 format..am i the only one this is happening to? i have all these movies ready to go and no way to xfer them to my phone

Well what do you consider a full length video? because there is only aboyt 7-8 meg free if you delete all you can delete. thats at most a 10-15 min video. so how could you get full length? of what. any way try changing the file to .mp4 and see what happens.

i didn't mean full length like 2 hours, i was trying to get a family guy clip and managed to compress it to 1000kb but had no way to send it to my phone, i'm looking to get a transflash so i can expand the memory and hold more media, plus have a cheap way of xfering to my pc since i bought this usb data cable for nothing! i think i'm gonna keep it and hope an update or hack comes along

anyone know of a data cable that also charges the phone while it's plugged into the pc? i know some usb cables work for other phones, i was just wondering if motorola is smart enough to do this as well

the standard motorola cable alows you to plug in a wall or car charger into the side of it.

that would be awesome..if mine had that â˜šī¸ verizon must have sold me an old version of the data cable...not too happy about that

Thats strangle, the one I purchased from verizon had the charging port on the side. Did u get it from the Mobile Office Kit?

skip all the cable crap. use an avi format video and convert it using the nokia program. then put it on your transflash using a card reader. whoa la! its ready for the v710

i just ordered a transflash and i'll just xfer the videos with that until verizon takes the stick out of their @ss and lets us use the cable..yes, i got the mobile office kit and no charging on the cable..i'd return it, but it was the only kind they had..stiffed by verizon again *sigh*
