Trying to get by on Verizon...Help!!
Okay. I want the v710. I don't want to pay full retail nor go to eBay. How can I get discounts. I know some of you VZW Customer Service ppl can help me out. My status is this: I've already renewed my contract for 2 years in May. My plan right now is $49.99. I want to upgrade to a plan that is $59.99 but the VZW here told me that I cannot get any discounts for doing so. I'm not sure if that's true, but can somebody tell me something that I can say that makes me sounds like Iknow what i'm talking about. I've heard about the non-commission discount but not sure what that's about.
In general, I just want this phone for a good price...can somebody help me out please.

I think the real issue revolves around your May renewal. When you renewed in May, did you get a new phone and take advantage of the New Every 2 $100 credit towards a new phone? If you did, then you are kind of out of luck.
You might look up your current phone on ebay and see what it is selling for. So, if you can sell yours for $100 and apply that towards your v710 - you will get the phone for the same as the lowest legit price. {$320 - $70 rebate -$100= $150

actually the full retail price on this phone is 419.00. So it would be 419.00-70.00-100=249.00
this would be the best price that you could pay for the phone out of contract if you can sell your current phone for 100.00.

It actually took me getting the phone. Returning the phone and buying it again to get a better price. It all comes down to getting a CSR that is really set on service. The guy I talked too, looked a few options and asked to call me back. Within 30 mins. My phone was on the way.
Also because I paid full retail for the first one, I told I could not get the rebate! So don't count on that.
