Mobile Phone tools update help
I have read about every thread I can find on here and on the Howard site. I have not found anyone that solved the problem with not getting passed the initialization and I am wondering if there is an answer out there that I missed. I can't even do a live update, I get an error message that there is a block or filter somewhere and I have turned every security feature off on my pc and still get the same response. Like others here, the software saw the phone as the V710, but that was the end of it. XP gave me an error notice that the new hardware did not install properly, but it did not tell me what the problem is. I can not find any evidence of a driver being placed on my computer for the phone, even though the mobile phone software loaded ok. ...

I purchased a cable and MPT 2.0 yesterday and had similar problems getting my XP system to load the USB driver. Rebooted phone/PC bunch of times...(very frustrating). Finally went out to MPT site and downloaded upgrade MPT 2.21. Installed, rebooted pc/phone and USB driver loaded no problem. Phone then connected and off to the races.

I have looked for v2.21 but cant find it. The software I bought, from Dans Cell phones, advertised as 2.21, but it's 2.0. Where is the MPT site? Thank you.
