I just got the 710 and signed up for the 500 text, 20 pictute, and mobile web extras. My question is that when I send a picture or midi file to [email protected] I get a message saying "You have a picture or video waiting for you at http://www.vzwpix.com/mlib/getpix/, Use a PC and visit this site and follow the directions." I have done this and I see the files there but how do I get them from the website to my phone? Please help. Thanks in advance.

I had the same problem. I had to call Verizon customer support where they had no record of me having a picture/mobile web package (are you able to get to mobile web? I wasn't)

Eventually, customer support got a tech on the phone and eventually, they got the right person to add it to my account. Seems like it took them two or three tries to get it right. Total time on phone, aprox. 1 hr

After that, I was able to use vzwpix to e-mail myself midi file. Not sure if I was charged for the handful of times I unsucessfully tried to send myself a midi. I complained about it on the phone and they told me they would credit my account. I guess I'll have to check when the bill arrives.

Call them

Thank you for quick reply. I am able to use Mobile Web but each time I have to hit subscribe, accept, and confirm to get it to work. I tried calling Verizon last night and was on hold for 30 minutes before I decided to hang up and go to bed, so I will call them when I get to work and hopefully they can get it figured out. Thanks Again.

hey one more note on sending ringers and pics TO your phone.

When I first got the phone I was sending all my ringers to it (from my PC) one at a time ... each one costing me 1 pix message.

Just for kicks I tried attaching 4 midi ringtones to an email and sending it. I got all four and was able to save each one to the phone from 1 email aka 1 Pix message.

How big were those files? Verizon got it fixed for me but I have sent anything to the phone yet. Just waiting until I get all the files that I want and I will try sending them in one try.
