nuclearelephant.com earpiece volume advice no good..

I have tried the advice posted on nuclearelephant.com to increase the volume in the earpiece. I followed the directions to the "T" to no avail. I tried turning it up to 15, the supposed highest volume, and noticed no change. I began to wonder what the result would be if I turned it down to 0, 3 or even 9? I did, and to my surprise, once again, no change. The volume remained the same. This leads me to believe that the special "opps codes" for the volume adjustment does not work. This is just my findings & $.02. If anyone can confirm that turning the "opps code" to 0 actually turns the volume DOWN please let me know. Any input is appreciated. Thanks

Well, if my volume is considered to be "up" then I'm not happy. It's fine for normal situations but add some road noise or wind or other people talking and it just is not loud enough at it's highest setting. The car kit makes life good tho, at least while I'm in my car.
