I know that some phones these days let people record there own ringers, like the voice of the person calling. Is there anyway to do this with the v710?

Sure you can do it....record that persons voice on a tape player...your computer...whatever...make an mp3...change the file extension to .mid and send to your phone.

He meant Voice note on the v710 phone. And that can NOT be done directly. The is always a BS way around audio acquisition.
