Does anyone else have a problem with the battery life on this phone? My power dies after about 30 minutes of talking...that doesn't seem right...

Well I had a conversation earlier today for 30 minutes, have bluetooth on all day, was using the camera/light and playing mp3s. Been off the charger for over 12 hours and it still shows my batter at level 6.

You guys must not be charging the phone right or have a defective battery. Goto Verizon and complain!

no, you jsut got a defective battery, its faily common (about 1 in 10) for li-ion batteries to die before they're first used... Before workign in the cellular industry I was the resident technician at a battery sales/service/wholesale/design/assembly/rebui ld you name it we did it place. 🙂

I am going on my 3rd day of having the phone on, using it some, but basically letting it sit on stand by. The last time it saw the charger was saturday morning. It is still at a full 6 bars. I've used it to make about 5 5minute phone calls over the weekend.

so far I am impressed.

My battery indicator always shows full -- Right up until the phone starts to alert me that the battery is dead...

The only way I know the true state of the battery is to plug it in.

I believe that this is a bug.

Check to be sure your phone isn't stuck in Analog mode. That would certainly account for piss poor battery life.

Yeah I also had this problem at first. Make sure that you charge your battery FULL. Because if you put the phone on the charger with 1 bar, for like 20 minutes, when you take the phone off the charger it will say full. But then the bars go down really fast. So you might not be charging it fully.

Leave it on the charger overnight, for atleast 3 hours, and when it's fully charged it should say "Charge Complete" on the outside.
