the one that folds up... the 810 I think... the more expensive one.. I have trouble keeping them straight......

when you fold it up, it turns off, and the phone rings... none of that "hold the button for 8 seconds" bullcrap... instant on by openign it, and instant off by closing it...

its smaller, newer, fits well, works well, i am not saying its the best out there but i am happy with it,

"HS820 is Bluetooth 1.2 compliant. Verizon is selling HS820 because that is the Motorola recommended headset"

It also has really good sound, is about $30 cheaper

Not really sure. Maybe because its older and bigger, maybe cause the boom mic. The HS820 is a newer, cheaper model, and they never lowered the price of the original one. I am sure a year from now BT Headsets will be much cheaper.

So what is my final verdict for the HS820? It is definitely a good value, costing only around US$80 in most shops, and it is quite light and good looking, with great battery life. But still, I give it a "Recommended" rating, ranking it behind the older HS810 model. I don't view the extra talk time as being worth the lack of the simplicity of use you find in the HS810. With the HS810, you could leave the headset off and turn it on instantly when a call came in by merely opening the microphone boom and placing it on your ear - automatically answering the call in the process. Standby time is never an issue that way since it spends the down time in a totally off state. The HS820's lack of wind resistance is also another knock a...

I think BOTH of them are awful...

Wireless is better...and safer....

the 810 because the boom mic doesn't pic up any wind noise unlike the 820
...
