Emailing or Using VZWPIX - Suddenly Not Working

Using this forum as the great resource it is I've been taking MP3's off the Walmart site, converting to MIDI and emailing to my phone. Everything worked beautifully most of the day Friday and Saturday as I emailed 10 MP3's to my phone, but then Sunday night every file I sent was never received by the phone. I even tried sending via VZWPIX.com where it said "Send Success" but again never received by the phone.

Does anybody have any idea why it worked and now it doesn't? I called the clowns at Verizon data support and just got the "we don't support that feature" nonsense. If they don't support it, why does VZWPIX exist?!?

Yeah, I'm getting text messages just fine. Shortly after posting my proble/question I tried emailing another MP3 and it was received fine. Does this mean there night have been a system problem last night? Or, based on your response about the battery, I wonder if having the phone plugged into the charger while trying to send last night makes a difference?

Thanks for any insights!

I reccommend using your email program to send the file directly. It seems to consistently work... just attach the Mid file. I've had mixed results with uploading to vzwpix site.

just send it to yourphone#@vzwpix.com.

New User, long lurker.

Just got the V710 and I love it! However, I can't seem to figure out how to email pictures/files to my phone. I want to email this specific picture...and the file has been "dropped" - its not there when I open up the message to my phone. What do I have to do to make this work...and how about sound files? How can I make them work on my phone?

The VZW customer salesperson told me that his friend has the V710 and set up a way to DL the songs/pics from his MP3 player/computer to his phone..but I know they have to be a certain length and file, right? Can someone please help me in assisting this. Sorry if all of this has been covered in another thread. Step by step would be nice!

Thanks all!
