V710, USB and OSX 10.3
Has anybody used the Mobile office kit (USB cable) from verizon? does it work with a mac, or osx? i know i can buy it from motorola, but its easier to do it from verizon... i assume its the same as moto's because its still the same usb cable... someone please let me know! 🙄

I have the usb cable and run OS 10.3 on my powerbook.
It all works fine. iSync works great for calendar. I haven't tried contact syncing but I'm sure it works as well.

I have the motorola one but don't know if it is different than the verizon one. Give me a link to the verizon one and I'll tell you if it is the same. It should be.
You can't send mp3s from the computer to the phone through the cable as far as I know. You have to have a transflash card - put the mp3s on the transflash card using a SD card reader plugged into your computer and then put the card into your phone.

That usb cord isn't exactly the same as the motorola one but it looks like it has the same adapter on the end.
You know that if you get the cord the software won't work on your mac. You'll only sync through iSync on your mac.
