Sending Mp3 via USB Help!

Can someone tell me how to send Mp3s (and what to shrink them to size wise) from the usb to the phone?

heh, use a USB card reader for the transflash... otherwise cool your jets till the new release of MPT... The current method is a dodgy hack.

nono not using the transflash, i thought you could do it using the phone with a usb cable

what is an mpt, and why not use the moto cord or the verizon mobile office kit usb cable? damn sponge looks like your answering all the questions 🙂

MPT is Motorola Phone Tools. version 3.0 is suposed to allow you to transfer pic/mp3s. verizons mobile office kit is only for date book and phone book. Motorola phone tools 3.0 is not out yet.

This is not entirely accurate.

To answer the original question: You currently cannot transfer pictures or audio via the USB cable.

The current version of MPT supports transfer of contact and calendar data via the USB cable. When MPT 3.0 is released you will be able to transfer contact and calendar data via Bluetooth, as well.

There has been NO indication that tranfer of multimedia will be supported for the V710 with MPT 3.0. In fact, indications are that Verizon has requested that Motorola NOT enable this function.
