The v710 review VZW please read!
I think the basic functions are excellent. This phone has so many features that other phones don't have. But that being said......there must be thousands upon thousands of people who bought this phone specifically for the BLUETOOTH CAPABILITIES!!!!!!! Yeah, it's cool that I can use the headset, but how many people would have bought this phone if they knew that Verizon Wireless intentionally crippled the majority of the Bluetooth capabilities. I bought this phone to sync with my car.... Can I????? No... Why??? Because Verizon says its a "security risk". Let's get a little real. You can use a password or individually turn off the Bluetooth funct...

That's my point, all there is is heresay. There;s no proof at all that is Verizon's reason.

I am indeed disappointed that Verizon has sought to specifically exclude full Bluetooth functionality based upon an alleged "security risk", the notion of which seems little more than one veiled attempt to obfuscate profit motives. It seems to reason that Verizon's motivation for crippling the v710's functionality stems in part from the former's interest in preserving full royalty streams from its 3rd party resellers, who market their products through Verizon's wireless "Get-It-Now" network.
