Motorola V710

Downloading Mp3's

I have friends that have the v600 with AT&T service and are able to send a text message with a URL link to an mp3 to their phone and then automatically open it in their mobile web browser. I have tried to do this with my v710 and am not able to to go to that site. I have also tried to manually input the URL in the address box and have not yet been able to visit the site. Verizon said that because the phone is new, they are not able to offer me much help. Anyone with any information please help. Thanks in advance.

rename it to .mid instead of .mp3.... and e-mail it as an attachment too....

hey i tried emailing it to myself as a link and as an attachment. but it wont let me open the link in the email or download the attachment. whats up with that??
