Do we have new firmware?
I have two changes to my phone!
First - the outside LCD stays lit durring charging . . . I know it did not do this two weeks ago.
Second - on the menu screen, I have a number in the upper left corner that I never saw before. Is this new?
QUESTION - did I get a firmware upgrade without knowing it? Whats up?

Never noticed this either. The number changes as you highlight different menu choices so you can navigate directly to a submenu by pressing the corresponding number. Whether it's new or not, it's a nice feature. Thanks for pointing it out.

Neither are new features.
The number has always been there. It's a navigation tool so you can just press the numbers for the menu you want to select. Similar to how Nokia has done it for a while now (even though I hate their phones)
The screen will stay on when plugged into your car, but will turn off shortly after being plugged into the wall outlet. I think there is a slight difference in the voltage to the phone so it can descipher which it is plugged into. It works out nicely for me, too, because when I'm driving at night I can look at my phone at any time and see the time or know right away if I missed a call because my radio was too loud. And then when I charge it at night it's by my bed so the light doesn't bother me when I'...
