Charging Phone
Hey guys
I just had a quick question. I tried to charge the V710 last night, and it would not charge, like on the screen it would not say Phone charging and now the phone is completely dead. Does anyone know why it would not charge?

Well I've tried removing the batter and that didnt work, i guess i can try to move the battery around and see what happens.

Anyone successfully taken out of iTunes a file, trimmed via QuickTime (around 25 secs) and transferred via transflash card to the v710 and it works becase it does not for me?
I can see the file after moving it from the card to the phone but just does not play, I am using short name files too.
Any ideas.
Also forum search does not seem to be working any more.

Constant or Variable Bit rate... "Good Better Best" == VBR a buncha different fixed (pick one to use through the whole song) bitrates and sample rates == CBR encoding. 🙂

Just did it for a friend 3 times today... not on a mac though, but I know for a fact that his mp3s he tired were VBR and they din't work and I re-encoded them to CBR and they worked fine...

Not only did i use that thread, i saved it because it seemed logical. I keep getting ATTACHMENT DROPPED when i send the picture messages from my email to my phone. I cant seem to get verizon not to 'drop' my attachment (which is the .mp3 changed to a .mid), its 83kb small enough and like 15 seconds, i wanted to start small... i just want mp3s on my phone without having to go buy more for the phone

VZW store rep told me the charging connection is same from previous Moto models and there were some probs with them. 1st I heard of this issue. Will ask for more info on this when I go there next week.
