Any updates on version fixing bluetooth?

I'm getting a new Toyota Prius very soon and I was wondering if there's any news on Verizon allowing file+phonebook transfers on the V710. I really enjoy verizon's coverage, but I also want a phone with a fully functional bluetooth implementation.

I ran across this online, and I have already contributed.

This move by Verizon is completly ridiculous.
