I am blond, ok? I know that there is a way to convert the files on my iTunes to ringtones, but I haven't a clue how. Is there a good place to find out how to do it step by step for my V 710? I have the little memory chip already. thanks

Like, any kind of follow-up post the January 18th Court Order finalizing the agreement?

I know someone said 90 days, but I was reviewing the original settlement agreement, and I thought it said 30 days.

I just want to make sure that I'm not the only one who hasn't received anything.

Hi,

I cannot get my phone to work! I put in a new fully charged battery but all the stupid thing does is flash. The screen just begins to say Verizon Wireless!!! How can I retrieve all of those numbers?! I don't care about the pics as they are on the Transflash card. Please, should I buy a USB plug, and software package? There are hundreds of numbers, and I will be lost for the near year if I cannot retreive them!!!

I have the cable but haven't been able to get the connection to work. V710 connects to my laptop via cable fine.

☹️ How do you get the mp3's into phone have the SD transflash card and insert into computer I keep getting the write protected file thing after ripping cd to hard drive. Tried using realplayer. recognizes device but gives me unsupported file. Formatted card in phone first before going all that.

ok...alltel subscriber here...having trouble with getting MP3's onto my phone...what exactly am i wanting to go through...the songs that i want to put on are either in Itunes or Windows Media Player...am i able to load them onto the SD disk through either of those...ive also heard so send an email to my phone...trying to figure that one out as well...any info would be helpful...thanks

i have just recently experienced the complete white screen syndrome. can't see a single thing. only thing i can do with the phone is manually dial and recieve calls and use voice dialing.

i purchased the phone back in aug. of '04 from the brooklyn verizon store and i remember i paid with a gold credit card with i think doubles the manufacturer's warranty so i guess the question is can i still bring the phone back 4 an exchange until the settlement is finalized.. is the warranty 1 year or 90 days or what??

Bought my first phone in november of 2004, and I was included in the class. Obviosuly I dont have the original piece of **** phone I got from the store (I think I am on my 3-4th one.) anyways, I took the 'refund' option, but I have some confusion. I bought this phone wiht a NE2 credit, so do I get the ?149 (249-credit) back? Also then, do I get to re-use the original ne2 credit when I get a new phone? and, if I want to get promo pricing, which I got when I bought the phone does that mean I have to sign another contract? My hope is that they give us full PP (449 or whatever it was for the phone, and tell us to go buy whatever we want at the full PP and just stick in on our exisiting contract and NE2 plan. I have a v-710 and a hs805 bluetooth head set and can not listen to my mp3 stored on my phone thru my bluetooth headset. Is there a bluetooth headset that I can listen to my mp3 files thru??

Previous posts have asked about wireless Bluetooth stereo headsets which would allow playing of MP3's and also allow telephone communications. One does exist! See it at http://www.bluetake.com/products/BT420EX/BT42 0EX_subC.htm

Don't get too excited though! When looking at the web site go to 'compatibility', and notice that all Motorola phones are conspicuously absent from the list. It's also very expensive at over $200. Who knows -- if Verizon and Motorola do their job with the firmware upgrade, this device could become a reality for the V710.

Notice one thing that these guys do that Verizon should also do on their site. They list all Bluetooth profiles that they support -- so you know exactly what you're getting into when you buy thei...

The info doesn't say anything about 710 having a voice memo capability. It seems strange given that it can record movies with sound. Does anyone know if this feature can be used without using the camera? 😎

I was told when I picked this up, it could be used as an mp3 player if you install a transflash card for all the music. How do you create a playlist? And,does the phone allow you to switch from phone to player by the button on the headset like the rokr?

I'm looking for freeware (or cracked ware 😉 )for making, cutting, and creating ringtones. All sorts of trial stuff on line, but limits are rediculous.

I have sent several midi tones to my phone and some play, some don't. When I try to play them, they just show as stopped. Others from the same download sites work fine. Someone got a fix for this? 😢
