Motorola MPx220

Aside from what I've learned from personal experience and Cingular employee testimonies, not all but most late model Motorola phones have low volume earpieces and ringers. That out of the way, has anyone reading this got a hold of a new mpx220 with firmware v1.3 that can tell us if the upgrade helped make better or eliminate their previous problem(s) with their early firmware model. If it's not helping then I don't want to wait until past 14 days from purchase to decide if it's worth the trouble to keep this model or try another one.
