GOT VERSION 1.3 !!!

I sent my orange dot MPx220 into Motorola's service center last week and just got it back 6 business days later with the 1.3 flash. So far so good.. The earpiece sounds pretty good so far. Haven't tried to used the camera with the bluetooth on yet.

Only problem I'm having is tech support. Its an unlocked Cingular phone that i'm using with an AT&T Wireless SIM card. I called ATTWS tech support to get the mMode and MMS settings and the guy heard of mMode and MMS, but didn't really know what it was. I tried a second person - same thing. Then finally they said they would transfer me to an ATTWS customer support rep. I asked them who they were, they said they were Siebel Support Reps and that they initially answer the calls now. What the hell? Needless to say, I'm still frustrated.. And the ATTWS website OTA programmmin isn't working so I'm stuck with these reps who never heard of the MPx220. "Sir, you have a MBX20?" arggghghg!!! Anyone know, other than OTA, where I can get the instructions?

1) Start>Settings>Data Connections>Menu>Edit Connections

2) Open Dial-Up Connections. Delete all Orange Settings.

3) Open Proxy Connections. Delete all Orange Proxy Settings.

I tried the config to get mMode to work. I don't have MMS Setup but MMS Settings. Seems to be the same but from step 10 on, there are slight differences in my prompts. When I try to access the web site, I get an error asking if I have service.

Yeah, its kinda tricky. I can't remember what sidesteps I took, but I somehow got it working. I would suggest calling ATT Wireless and ask to speak directly with a DATA REP. Don't let the siebel support reps or the customer care reps help or you'll be on the phone for a while and they eventually send you on to DATA support anyway.
