mp3 ringer
where do u get the mp3 ringer tones ?
...
You can do a basic search on google and find sites that have a few good mp3 ringtones. I haven't found a site yet that has alot of them yet. I found a few good ones on one of the carriers websites (att, sprint, etc) but I don't remember which one. They offered to sell them, but instead just download the mp3 sample and drag it into your \windows folder on your phone while sync'ed and it works fine. You can also split up your own mp3s and drag them over, but I haven't had time to find a good free splitter.
Post back if you find a good site and/or splitter. 😎

If you have a program that can convert file back and forth from .mp3 to .wav you need nothing else.
I use MusicMatch to convert the files and Window Sound Recorder to split(?).
When you have the sound file in wav format, Sound recorder will let you:
"delete before current position" or "delete after current position".
Once you have the smaller wav flie, "save as" xxxx(whatever you want to name it, but not the same as the original or you will erase, lose original).
Then use a program to convert the new smaller wav flie to mp3.
You can then transfer the mp3 to your phone via Bluetooh. This will work as long as the mpx has the necessary BT profile(either file transfer or obex push I believe).
Hope this helps.

If you go to walmart.com and browse their CD collection you can steal the clips from them by choosing the CD you want to buy, then right click on the 30 second sample clip, and copy that url into your go to URL field on your moto phone. It will automatically download that 30 sec. cliop onto your phone, BooYah!
