mpx 220 memory card not reading

hey does anyone know if you have any issues about the mpx220 not reading the memory card i already have the newest ver. 1.3 and i recently got a 256 mb and doesnt read

I had a similar problem. When I inserted by memory card, the phone was turned on. I turned the phone off, then removed and re-inserted the memory card. After powering the phone back on, it worked fine.
