Using Calling Card with Cingular

I am trying to use a corporate calling card to dial international phone numbers. I need to do this on a regular basis. I have to dial an AT&T access number..pause..enter the passcode..pause..and then dial the international number I am trying to call. I entered the number as

(###)###-####PP##############PP############

and stored them in an unused contact field. This is excactly the way I did on my Sprint Treo.

When I attempt to use this, the phone dials the access number correctly and the AT&T response system picks up. However the passcode never gets dialed and the AT&T response system keeps requesting the passcode.

I have tried a variety of formats for the pause (no Ps, 1 P, 3Ps, wait, etc) and nothing seems to work. I can dia...

I use the pause functionality for several contacts, although none of them were for international dialing. The only thing I can point out is that the "p" is supposed to be lowercase.

Here is the format for one of my contacts:
(800) 234-5678 p 1234567# p 09876
...
