Replacement from Cingular - is it still unlocked?

I am waiting for the replacement from Cingular for my 0.342 version. My question to those who received the replacement phone is: Is it still unlocked?

The unit I bought at BestBuy was unlocked and I do not want to loose this feature.

When I tested the earpiece sound volume today at BB, all we did was insert my SIM card and battery into black dot v 1.30 . Does that mean that it is unlocked?

I would think so.
Was your SIM also from Cingular?
If it wasn't then for sure it was unlocked.
