I called the 800 number today and told them about lthe ow ear piece volume. I have software .342. When they found that out they indicated that the .342 fixed the volume problem from the .325 and said that they presently did not have any newer SW versions. They told me that I had to take it back to BB which I did. BB has SW version 1.3 but I could not tell any difference in the volume. Also, it took forever to boot up Windows, about a minute longer than my present phone. Do I still want to upgrade to v 1.3???

The other hestitation I have is my contacts list is not on my SIM card. We have to manually, one at a time, send the contacts to the SIM card from the internal memory. What is up with that?

The main benefit of all Smartphones is that they sync to Outlook so even though your contacts may not be on a SIM card, just connect the phone to your PC and it will sync all your contacts, calendar and tasks without a single keystroke. IMHO, that's lightyears better and easier than the way any other type of phone works.
