Speaker volume
How do I adjust the spearker phone vloume- i can't hear the songs when they play
...
As w/the first release of this phone a few months ago, volume was apparently a big complaint w/most sound emissions: earpiece, ringer, etc.
I have found that my phone is quite loud in all other areas except when playing downloaded MP3's.
Don't know why this is, but doesn't appear to be a way to adjust this. I have downloaded a polyphonic tone and it plays really loud, but the other 2 MP3's are much softer by comparison

Another thing I noticed is when using a .WAV ringtone it's loud too. So what I'm doing is making my ringtones WAVS instead of MP3's / yeah I know much bigger files but I'm gonna be getting a 512 mb card in today. Even without the card I can still safely store a few ringtones on my phone and still have 10-15 mb of storage leftover. Hope this helps, it sure made my day to hear a loud ringtone 🙂
What I done with the mp3's befor though, I'd use cool edit/adobe audition and amplify my wav file before converting it to mp3. You don't want to go too loud though otherwise you'll distort your sound. You can usually go +3db and it'll still sound pretty good and a bit louder than normal 🙂

You're definitely right about the volume. I have noticed that with MP3 ringtones the volume is very very Loooow. No pun intended. I didn't download a polyphonic ringtone. I had one of the previous releases in November and the MP3 ringtones were loud on that one. I didn't have any issue with the volume at all. Maybe the MP3 tones volume being so low must be a glitch in this upgraded version that I have.
