Can the Smartphone synch with a MAC?

I'm probably going to the the Mpx220 and have a normal "work" laptop, but was considering buying a Mac for personal use. Does anyone know if the smartphone/activesync will work with apple computers? or is it a typical MS only synch.

"The Missing Synch" (http://www.markspace.com/missingsync_pocketp c.php) will allow PocketPC's to sync with Macs, but unforntunately it does not work with Smartphones.
