Voice recognition is extremely responsive

i just got this phone so basically im testing out all the features. now, this voice recognition is painfully accurate for something that doesn't even have to train your voice (besides the voice number dialing). I mean, just to test it, I was in my bedroom with the tv on low and I was saying commands. Then, I moved the handset about 2 feet away from me and it still worked great. THEN, I even whispered my commands, while it was 2 feet away from me and it STILL worked!

I mean, voice dialing isn't that big of a deal to me, but i remember my old phone...i had to manually program my voice for every contact and it would always make me repeat the name. Voice recognition has come a long way.

I think what they mean is that it can't be activated from the headset. Ya still have to touch the phone to activate voice dialing. But I'm sure it can be done thru the headset. Just not when the phone is halfway across the room.

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

Sorry, but voice reco on the MPx220 can neither be initiated nor completed via a BT headset. You must do either from the handset or a wired headset. I don't mind, though, as T9'ing a contact from the home screen is nearly the same number of button presses and is faster than wading through the voice tree. It still would be nice, though, to have access to the MPx's excellent voice dialing via BT.
