Can I change the right soft key to call history?

Is there any way to change the default from "Contacts"? Call history takes far too many keystrokes, and the call button only brings up outgoing calls.

I don't believe you can. I've been trying to figit with it to change some settings... but still unable to. Maybe it's because i've grown accustomed to just hit the fast keys and kinda got lazy on exploring.

My suggestion is to just memorize where you wanna go... IE: Call History... **Start** **6**
instead of hitting **start** and scrolling down.

Hope this helps... 🙂

id like it if you could have a static list of icons on the desktop or be able to customize the start menu instead of having all the pre-installed applications always in front

Well... there are programs out there that you can intall in your phone in place of what you have. errr.. download.com may have some of those programs that you can browse through. I believe i saw something on the useless disk that came with the phone with links on them as well.

The disk that came with my phone had only older versions of software I already had... I thought that was very odd. I already had MSOffice 2003 and newer version of ActiveSync (from a PDA) - I was very surprised not only that this was the only software with the phone, but that it was not any newer versions than I already had for some time now.... hmmmm

There wasn't supposed to be any other software that I didn't get, was there?

You can customize the Start Menu to change which applications list first. Modifying the shortcuts listed in this registry key will do it for you.
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Shell\St artMenu\Order

Also, you can use File Manager on the phone to move the Shortcuts around to various folders under the Start Menu (to include creating new folders). Use File Manager to look at the following folder: "\Storage\windows\Start Menu"

Add a speed dial -> Start - scroll down to Call History - Menu button - Add Speed Dial.

It's a useful feature. I have the calculator as 9 and Resource Manager as 88.
