I am very confused over which phone to get on feb 1. What is the difference in screen size b/w these 3? For those of you who have played around with the vx8000 is it very oversized? how would it feel in a pocket? I appreciate the help. Thanks

The cdm-8940 is supposed to come out w/ the other 2, not the v710- that has been out a long time and has gotten a lot of complaints

The specs show they have the same type of internal screens, except it doesn't say what the resolution is on the 8940. It may be the same as on the others (176x220) or it may be higher(240x320), as the previous high-end audiovox was, the 9900.

lg vx8000 isn't too big. in technology fashion, everyone wants to go for the slim and tiny style, but not lg. lg vx8000 is the hummer of phones but it's not toooooooo big. you'll adapt to it within 2-3 days. its easy to use and it feels like a regular cell phone in the pocket. i wouldn't recommend the v710 for some reason. i do recommend the a890 and 8000. samsung cameras are so smooth, plus its a megapixel camera..so u can expect the scha890 to have a better camera than the vx8000.

Yes I know the cam on the 8000 and sch a890 are the same MP but a LOT of other factors matter too. Like the image processor. Look I have a 8000 and I love it to death, but my friends a670's camera is wayyyyy smoother than mine. it has better quality because of other factors like image processor, lens, all this and that. You really have to compare it for yourself. In my own opinion, I am pretty sure that the a890's camera will look like it has a LOOTTT better picture quality than the vx8000's.
