Can you put 25 min clips of video (like tv shows, ie: family guy) on the 8000 with the QPST program?... just askin because i saw someone have spiderman 2 on their v710 and was wondering if you could do stuff like that with the 8000 and if you could do it with the QPST program....Thanks

The big question is WHY would anyone want to? 😕 Spiderman 2 needs to be seen on widescreen TV with Dolby surround sound to get the great effect of the movie.

Watching it for 2 hours on a 2" screen sure looses something, but you do gain a lot of eye strain!!! 🤣

By the way, how many extra batteries do you carry with you to get through that movie? 😎

yes that doesn't make sense. who is going to actually look at their phone for 2 hours just to watch a movie. i think this phone has people thinking without any common sense. basically, if you want to watch a movie invest in a home theatre system and if you want to take great pictures.....buy a digital camera (i know nothing was mentioned in this thread, but still). come on people, we're talking about a phone here. there are plenty of other technology to meet our needs. all of it can't come from this phone.

I also agree that it would not make any sense to watch a movie on a cell phone, but what about a 2 min. video clip that you want to carry around. Basically what I'm asking is, can it be done, I don't want your personal opinion on whether or not it makes sense.

I don't think it can be done. It was easy to do on the V710 because the V710 had removable storage, whereas the VX8000 does not. So I don't know how you would go about getting the clips on your phone. And as far as I've seen in other posts, if you can use a usb cable then it only transfers like contacts or whatever to the 8000. And to begin with, the VX8000 doesn't come with a USB cable, at least not the trial version I have from Verizon. So I think your answer would be no. And for the record, watching movies or video clips aren't that bad on a phone. I used to watch episodes of Friends on my V710 to pass the time on the train/plane or whatever.
