full mp3 songs, .midi ringtones, questions, comments
Okay so I have the VX8000 and I cannot figure out how to get a whole song on my phone. Is the only way to do so with the USB cable (that is not included, so where would I get one?)? Also, I find that paying $2.99 to download a ringtone from the GetItNow service is ridiculous when you can just send yourself the same "true" high-quality .midi tone. As far as I've seen, you cannot download a full mp3 song from the getItNow service. If so, can someone tell me where to find it?

you can get the esb cables on ebay. just look for one for the 7000 (its the same). i got one for about 4 bux + 4 bux shipping.

U mean USB cable right? Also, what software are u using to bring everything over? I work at Verizon Wireless and I am waiting for ours to come in so I can buy one for myself. I have been asking all my friends how this would work. Do u use Bitpim or something? And u are positive that the 7000 data cable will work for it?

im positive the vx6000 cable works for it (because thats what i use). i've successfully uploaded short videos(into flix gallery) and mp3s into the 'get tunes' section. so if the the vx6000 cable works, it should work same with the vx7000. and it doesnt work with bitpim yet. you have to get QPST. this is the program that the original techies of all cdma qpst phone makers use.

Cool, so what is QPST, where do I get to get it? Is it easy to use? Sorry I have not tried any of this since my V600 with Bitpim, and that was lame...anywayz, can someone HELP ME!!

Do a QPST search on this forum, I remember someone discussing it in a past post and they also had a link in order to download it.

AWESOME, I just hope I can use it. So when I get my 8000 which I am assuming I can when they are available to me, will that program update somehow and have the 8000 in there or do I choose 7000 and just go from there? Sorry to ask so many questions, just wanna know...
