Pick up a VX8000 today?
I was wondering if you could just call up today and order one. It sounds like Verizon has them in, it is just the cant sell them for four or five more days. Has anyone tried calling up and ordering one?

Not true I have mine "preordered" it is thru a corp account but it is ordered and will ship Jan 31st for delivery Feb 1st.

they aren't allowed to be released until the 1st. preordering is possible if you have a orporate account.

Talked to our corp rep and they said that they will not do this.
Happen to know what any magic words might be?
I was basically saying "look, i know you can only get it to me after it's been released, but i'd like to order it now and have it shipped to me on the release date" and they were saying No Go.
