Stick with 8000 - Here's why
Here's my opinion on the EVDO phones... 890, will be a pretty good phone, but those of you that text a lot like I do, will find that the keys are too close for comfort. If you have the 7000 right now the 8k is not much larger in comaprison, but here's why I'm going to get the 8000, the speakerphone, EVDO (obviously) and exact same menu system. Plus you can read your text messages on the outside of your phone, cool feature.
Why not to get the 8940: build quality is like the 8910, not that great. The camera extends out which makes it very likely to break. Quiet spearkerphone, test it, you'll see. Only good point to the phone is that the screen is very nice when viewing video clips thru vcast. I haven't see the clips played thru the 8k yet ...

Very nicely put. I work for Verizon here in Colorado, I am soooooo wanting our damn phones to be in. They launch here tomorrow but I just got an email from my DM saying we will not get ours for like 10 more days 😢 So who knows, I am definately buying an 8K for myself when it is available....so who knows....
