Free V-Cast
so i went into my local vzx store today and asked if VCAST was included with my phone for 2 months. i was told that it would be unavailable until 3rd quarter. I'm in chas SC does anyone know if this was true or was this sales person totally clueless. Well i know she was because she had to ask someone in the back of the store what VCAST even was, and that was the message relaed from whom ever she asked.

I work for vzw and live in Cleveland and I know our market won't have Vcast until AT LEAST 3rd quarter. It's all about obtaining the spectrum. In the part of Ohio where I live Verizon is still looking in to how to obtain enough spectrum so that their EV-DO data network can work efficently. Our network is so overloaded with plain old "voice" spectrum that it's going to take Verizon a while to get what they need to launch Vcast/Broadband access in this market.
