LG VX-8000
MP3..Please Help
I just ordered the 8000 on the net today and I have reading up on all the postings about the VX 8000 and nobody has really said anything about how the MP3 player works. Someone had mentioned something about there not being an available USB cable (to use as a modem for a computer). I understand the entire converting MP3 to .MIDI for ringtones, BUT what about the MP3 player. How do you get full MP3s to the phone? Thank you!

As of now Verizon dosent sell a USB cable they said it could be 4-6 months when I purchased my 8000 today, but their are aftermarket ones out their. Any USB cable for 7000 will work for the 8000. The cable at radioshack.com listed as Data Cable with USB for LG® VX6000 should...

how would the datacable for the 6000 work, the jack sizes on the bottom of the phone arent the same.. when i got my phone the guy said the 7000 one might work and he told me that it is usually a couple weeks after the phone is released before the data cable comes out. but i would assume someone has an aftermarket one out like you said, just do a search and you will find something
