Got BitPim to work with Mac OSX and LG8000

I went to the verizon store and purchased the mobile office kit for the lg6100 and 7000. Loaded up bitpim attached my phone and I was able to save my pictures off my phone. This is great. I landed up paying $40 for the office kit, but it was worth it. Macs are great, I didn't need any drivers, all I used was the usb cord out of the package.

I will now try to use the phone as a modem. As soon as I plugged in the phone, my mac said it recognizes the lg phone modem. Thats a good start. More later

To motion26:

Hello there! I was wondering if you tried putting MP3s on your phone with the USB as you did with the pictures?
Thanks!

How do they charge you for using your VX8000 as a modem. Is it a package or does it just use regular minutes or is it part of the Vcast package? I have a Powerbook and it would be great to use my VX800 as a modem!

I think it comes off your minutes, thats what happened when I usded my v710 as a modem. Maybe it will come off your vcast package, which means it would be airtime free.
