Converting and sending mp3 not working for me
i read all of the instructions and followed them perfectly for converting songs and sending them to vzwpix, but when i send the email to my phone i dont receive anything. no error message, no nothing. i contacted the verizon people but they didnt know what was wrong and told me that there was something wrong with my email provider, even tho i tried 2 completely different ones. somebody please help me out here....thanks a bunch

Watup Pfonk! I read your instructions and I completely understand it all but at the end how do you manualy change the file type to midi or mid? Do you right click..or is it something else? Thanks alot!

drag the song to your desktop after you done everything, then when the song is on your desktop click on the song it will be highlighted with blue but you only change MP3 to MIDI after that it should transfer to WMP.

I wrote this for the v710 a long time ago, but it works on the 8000.

I dont know if you all know about this 30 sec mp3 free music clip trick or not, but here it is. I can not take credit for this, I actually found it on another forum and think its worth spreading.
For free 30 sec mp3 music:
-Go to Walmart.com, search under Music, do any kind of specific search like sound effects or broad search like rock.
-Click on any album and scroll down, walmart allows you to listen to 30 seconds of almost every song on every album.
-To listen first just left click on the side on the song where it says "mp3 audio" winamp will pop up and allow you to hear it.

Make sure in windows > folders settings that you don't have "hide extention of known file types" checked.

emailed songname.mid file to myphone#@vzwpix.com but phone only alerts me I recvd a pix or video message and visit www.vzwpix.com. How do I get the midi file transfered to the phone? Thanks for any help.

I think you have to have registered (free) at vzwpix.com, then you can send pix and flix via email to your phone.
