After 36 pix, it wont let me take anymore

After 36 pictures at high res, it says memory full. But I still have so much contents memory. Do you guys know how much memory they allow for pictures? Does anyone else have this problem?

Then why wouldn't it let me take anymore? 36 pix at 200kb each would only be like 7MB. It says memory full but contents memory still says 42MB.

I checked my memory under the get it now menu.
