Dual Band Vs. Trimode

I am wondering if there are any vx8000 users that were previously using trimode phones. I had the Moto V60i which had outstanding coverage (e.g. able to get a slight analog signal in Yosemite). I am concerned that having an all digital phone may reduce the coverage substantially, but I am not sure. It was seldom that my V60i was in analog mode, but I am still curious. Is there really an advantage for having a trimode phone anymore (except for the few areas that you can only obtain an analog signal)???? Thank you for your feedback.

Well the funny thing is I had worse service with my tri-mode phone. Now I seem to get service where my old phone didnt and stronger signal where my other phone was weak.
