I know that I can with a 7000 can I with this phone. My friend and I sent a ton of songs (with words and 30sec long) to his 7000. All files were a little over 300k.

Can I do this with my 8000?

Yes, any 3G phone on verizon's network is capable of this.

I've read a ton about this but I can't much info on emailing songs to a 8000 (only data cable stuff). I know almost any phone can do this. However, almost all phones are different. For example, an Audiovox 9900 which has at least the same amount of memory as a LG VX 7000, cannot receive a 300k midi song like the 7000.

I'm trying to find out if these songs that can be sent to a 7000 can be sent to a 8000? The question is really quite simple; I just need an answer.

Your phone may have a small glitch in setting up your retrieval of pic messages. I had two phones that had this same exact problem. The first one I brought into the vzw store and had a tech play with it and fix it. The second time I was so pissed....I called 611 and did it over the phone with a tech. Mind you that it took me over 45 min on the phone with them. Call from your cell phone and then give them a land line # and they'll call you back on the landline.
The way to test your phone to see if its just not set up properly yet is to send a simple pic. If it refers you to "vzw pix place .com" than you may just need to call a tech.
You can send pics, and ringtones using the conversion mp3 to .mid. I did it on the v710, on the 9900, and o...

I did it on a 7000 and my 9900 by finding ringtones on the internet premade. Or use a program like wavpad to make an mp3 file smaller then convert it to midi.

Here's an awesome link. All you have to do is download them and send them to yourphone#@vzwpix.com. You have have to change the extensions on the file from .mp3 (or what ever format they are) to .mid

Ok, I'm REALLY new to this. I used to have a V60 so bear with me.....

I have iTunes but my music is done in ACC format. Is it possible to take a song, convert it to MP3 (in iTunes), send it to my phone, then convert the song back to ACC? I just checked my library in iTunes but on the tools bar there is nothing that says I can send a selection(s) of songs, not even to email.

Hmmmm, can someone help me out. I have 2490 songs on my iTunes and I really don't want to start over.

Thanks y'all 😕
