Got a plastic holster !!!
Live on Long Island. Bought my plastic holster at the Verizon Store on Northern Blvd in Massapequa. Have to say though.....not impressed by the holster....seems rather cheaply made.....hard to remove phone and when you do your're touching all the side buttons.
The leather you can at least you can unclip from your catch on your belt. With the plastic you can't.
Thought the plastic would be leaner to wear and it is to a certain extent but not as much as i thought it would.
Think the leather looks nicer...cost was $17.00 was worth a try...went back to leather until someone comes out with a better plastic holster

Hey Takki - does the holster swivel? Does it feel unsturdy when on your hip? Does the leather case add any more bulk to the phone? I'm in Queens - small world!

The holster swivels....but you can't remove the phone+clip from the clipping mechanism
The leather case does add a little more bulk than the plastic....but to me the black leather kinda makes the phone look cool
If you go to Verizon...NB...holster not on display have to ask and they go into inventory downstairs to get it.

im thinking about getting the leather case instead of a holster. the holster doesn't cover the phone but it doesn't feel secure. the leather case covers the entire phone, but i rather have the case so i dont have to worry about dropping my phone. heres what i did with my old phone and case.....i only put the back part of the leather case so that i can still show the front of the phone, but still have the swivel and a more secure case on my belt. try it out.

I know, i had holster from my old phone. but I have a 14 mos. old son who loves to pretend to talk on the phone and i am afraid that he was going to drool on it and break it. which is why I want to buy a leather case. the kiosk at the mall sell them for 15.00 but i think you can get them for less at the flea market. the case is compatible with vx7000 but not on leather just the regular one. leather is kind of too tight.

hey i live in west islip, smaller world, so the plastic holster is cheesy, interesting. i guess we have to wait untill some other brand comes out with a clip for this phone...also i thought the only verizon's in masspequa were the one one sunrise and the one in the mall

don't call LG they don't care and the claim it is a typo. They are very rude and like to disconnect calls when you read back what their user guide says.
So in other words you can open your new LG box and see your accessories and no phone. LG can also claim that there was a typo and the phone doesn't come included in the box?

Call Verizon. I am picking mine up tomorrow for free. I called customer service and they called my local store and arranged for me to pick it up at the store. LG is not honering what the user guide says but Verizon is not giving a problem.

I just got off of the phone with VZW and they are shipping me a holster. I will have it Wednesday.
The customer service representative refused to give it to me, but once I asked for a supervisor, she gave me no problems at all and said she would get it shipped out right away.

If u go 2 look at the phone on the lg website and u download the manual
on page 7 it says it comes with a holster

I just got back from the VZW store and I argued this point. They initially said that the phone did not come with a holster. I pointed out page 7 and spoke further. They agreed to mail one to my house.

I think LG or Verizon has fixed the type-o. Now it states, "Your mobile phone comes with a rechargeable battery, and an AC adapter." I noticed they had an extra comma in there still. What did the original statement say exactly? I am interested in getting one too.

Thanks Badboy5537 for the link. The manual clearl y stated, "...and a holster." before the type-o was fixed.
