It is defanitly harder than it should be. So many people use pop3 that Verizon should have a pop3 app just like they have hotmail and those others.
I have been trying mail2wap since yesterday and I keep getting HTTP Error:504 Gateway Timeout
Even if i get Mail2Wap to work, it will be a huge annoyance to enter in all that info everytime I have to check my email.

BAck in 1991 when I had my Motorola Vader I had mobile web and Verizon offered POP3 e-mail retrival but soon after when they merged with MSN they took that featute away and never added it back. It was great because I would just go to mail and it would automatically retrive my mail up to 4 pop 3 accounts seperately. Oh well

The smallest phone that was ever made the V8160. No longer in production it was the series that came out after the StarTac.

As a last resort you could always create a hotmail account and have your pop3 email fowarded to it.
