Hey, I tried what you said, and when I clicked "convert selection to mp3", I got a message that says "song could not be converted because protected files cannot be converted to other formats". What can I do to get my songs onto my phone? Thanks.

Yep, me too. I posted that before I actually tried getting a .mid file onto my phone. It worked on my 710. I can get an MP3 into the Tunes section using QPST and a cable but I can't get the phone to recognize a .mid file for use as a ringer. Think I saw something about that in an old post here or on Howard Forums but haven't had the time to dig for it yet.
