How to get MP3 ringers on the VX8000

I GOT AN LG VX 8000 AND ALSO HAVE A VERIZON DATA CABLE. IS THEIR ANY WAY THAT I CAN TAKE RINGERS AND MP3S OFF MY COMPUTER AND LOAD THEM TO MY PHONE. I HAVE READ SOME POSTS ON HERE ABOUT IT BUT I DONT KNOW WHAT BitPim OR QPST IS. IF ANYONE KNOWS HOW CAN YOU THEY PLEASE POST OR EMAIL ME AT [email protected]

First, Im pretty positive you cant use full songs for ringers. However, you could put around 30 seconds of any song on your phone as a ringer.I know how to do it through ITunes, but since you have a Data Cable, Im not sure how to do it from there. Didnt your Data cable come with software or did you just buy the cable seperatly?
