No ability to vibrate first, and then ring a short time later?

I've searched the forums and there were many discussions of vibrate and ring at the same time, but only one mention of vibrate first and then ring a short time later. This is a feature that the Motorola and Samsung phones have and that I've found very useful.

I am thinking of switching to the VX8000 from the Audiovox and am hoping that this capability does exist and that the previous mention was incorrect... 😲

Can someone give a definitive answer to this? Thanks in advance.

if it does have that feature it isnt on any of the menus :-(

'call vibrate' option under sounds only has 'on' and 'off'. volume has high, medium-high, ..., low, vibrate only, alarm only, sounds off

i just switched myself from 8940 to 8000. much happier overall.

i hadnt noticed that issue. my preference would be ring profile that kick in automatically based on location and/or time of day. so when im at work it would be vibrate only automatically.

i dotn really have a use for what you need. in fact my stupid old samsung had that option but had no vibrate+ring which is much more useful.

sorry ☹️
