Kyocera Koi KX2

as posted earlier, when i use vzwpix service to send "mp3" ringtones to my phone, it reboots everytime i try to open the message, despite being recieved successfully via email.

any solutions on how to bypass this quirk and actually save the sound bite as a ringer (without having to pay through GetItNow)?
