This is nice info & all, but did you realize that this article talks about pricing and availability only in Australia?? I seriously doubt that US pricing will be that high & I don't know what to think about the release date. Perhaps they're testing it in the Australian market first before they decide to release it in the US.
Anyway, the article is obviously Australian information and is not to be based on US releases.

Based on today's exchange rate, $700AUS comes to $542USD. Subtract $200USD from that (for standard 2 YR pricing) gives $342USD. That's not too far from what's currently being charged for the Moto V710, which the Koi is supposed to compete against. I imagine Verizon will offer...

No Way this is going to be $700.. Believe me!! It's going to be less than half that price even if you are going to buy it without a discount.
