Faceplates?
All the images of this phone, including the one on Cingular's page, are in what Sony Ericsson calls their "Lagoon" faceplate. Yet when I purchased my phone, the Cingular rep told me it was only available in the "Urban Gray" faceplate. Cingular's and SE's customer care lines couldn't provide any info as to the choice of faceplates. I don't really care for the gray look. Anyone out there seen it or have it in the Lagoon version?

I don't know the one you are referring to, but I can tell you that a bit of google searching for "Z500a faceplate" will turn up more of them than you can shake a stick at.

I found a site with a bunch of faceplates for the phone that are 10 dollars each. Just go to www.newyorkcellphone.com you can find it from there.

I did research and found out that lagoon is not a faceplate. The phone comes standard with either lagoon or urban gray. If you are very unhappy with the cover, I would suggest investing in style up covers for the phone.
